Saint Raphael Mission Elderly Fun Day Event Poster

This poster was designed for a Church event for a fun day with the elderly people of the community. The image of the Saint was supplied to me to represent the St Raphael Mission Church group that put this occasion together. The intention of the poster was to make it look appealing to the elderly by creating a warm, friendly and welcoming vibe. The background colour is a light and soft tone that is soothing to the eyes and suggests an amiable encounter with the event. Bright colours for the icons were used to give a strong contrast against the light background that makes it look fun so that the elderly can draw their attention to what they can expect on the day. The icons are spread out across the poster from small to large for a heightened engaging appearance. The word "elderly" is the focal point, especially in a black font that looks affectionate, hospitable and inviting, where the person can realise that it's a day specially planned for this age group. The poster was printed out and situated around different places, as well as shared on social media by the client.
