Victoria Park Café Christmas Poster

The Victoria Park Café in Zetland requested a one page design that communicates the shop's trading hours during the Christmas and New Year period for their customers. This poster was printed by the client and placed on the window of their shop, as well as being posted and shared as an image on their social media accounts to their followers. The client desired a depiction that emits a festive look for the season. I decided to maintain consistency in the illustrations by adhering to using Christmas ornaments for a more harmonious appearance. Christmas colours of red, green and gold were primarily utilised to uphold the correlation of the occasion. A little message was also added on the bottom of the page in a way to exude a personal touch that communicates a warming and friendly vibe to their valued customers on behalf of the workers. Two versions of the poster were designed to provide the client with another option to choose from; one with a white background and the other was an experimentation of using a gradient background. The gradient background poster choice manifests a more noteworthy and compelling design look and was ultimately, the client's decision to use this one for display.
